When grown in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River in China, it has a plant height of 120.7 cm, panicle length of 24.9 cm, 146,000 effective panicles per mu, 190.4 total grains per panicle, seed setting rate of 86.4%, and 1000-grain weight of 28.8 g. Brown rice rate 81.5%, head rice rate 61.7%, chalkiness 0.7%, transparency grade 1, amylose content 16.9%, gel consistency 77.0 mm, alkali spreading value grade 6.3, length-width ratio 3.5. It meets Grade 1 of the Chinese agricultural industry standard Quality of Edible Rice Varieties. In regional trials in the upper Yangtze River of China, the two-year average yield was 640.09 kg per mu.
